War of 1812 Leather Cartridge Box, Marked W.C.

This fine leather item came out of North West Florida. The leather is still quite soft. It is marked with brass tacks with brass legs. The wooden box is bored for 24 rounds of 69 caliber flint cartridges. A really great early cartridge box.
