Reid “My Friend” Knuckle Duster Derringer, .22 Caliber

These fine little hide out pistols were manufactured by James Reid of Catskill, NY from 1868 to 1882. It is a seven shot revolver of all metal construction. The frame acts as a set of knuckles for hand fighting. This one is a brass frame with about 75% of the original nickel finish. All the markings are nice and sharp. The gun is in fine mechanical condition. There is some pitting on the cylinder where it had lain for years. A really unique piece.  SOLD
