Original 1795 Rifle Lock
Although it is unmarked on the face of the lock, there are the letters A T which might identify the maker. Some of the gunsmiths making arms during the Revolution were not sure we were going to win, so they did not mark their Contract Arms. The lock is complete with the hammer, frizen and all the internal parts with the exception of the main spring. Note the long teet on the back of the lock. That is somewhat like the French Charleyville locks. $295.00
